Roble Durazno

07/07/2010

Colt

Sire: Maryss Nogal     Dam: Alto Escarlata

Durazno has won my heart.  I could waste hours in the field with this little chap and it will be a heart wrench to see him leave us when the time comes.

Roble Cinnamon

29/10/2009

Grullo colt

 Sire: Maryss Nogal     Dam: Ninfea

A wonderful colt who decided to be born with all four legs and his head all coming out together.  Fortunately Bry and I managed to gently manouvre him so he could come out into the big wide world.  The vet arrived about 5 minutes after with a look of relief on his face that the foal had been born succesfully.  A quick check out thankfully confirmed that there was no damage to mare.

Cinnamon must have been in an odd position inside as he had a little trouble with his near fore leg.  On advice from the vet I got him up every two hours for a drink from the milk bar (Ninfea) and to stretch the leg and within 24 hours he was fine with no lasting problems.

Cinnamon is a lovely intelligent boy who loves attention. He certainly has the talent and ability to excel in many spheres and his amazing colour will be a treat for any breeder interested in this aspect of breeding.

Cinnamon is now living a couple of miles away with Tanya.  I get regular updates and it always puts a smile on my face to hear how well he is getting on.  He truly is a special boy and has found a home where he is definitely appreciated.

Name:  Roble Cayenna

Born July 2009

Grullo Filly

Sire: Maryss Nogal     Dam: Cenicienta XIII

Cenicienta has done it again, she has produced a stunning foal but this time she gave us a filly which is wonderful news.   Roble Cayenna surprised us by arriving early.

Such a bold little girl who loves attention even at a few days old.  Cayenna will be staying with us as a future broodmare.

2008

Just a day old

 Roble Bolero

30th July 2008

Sire: Maryss Nogal

Dam: Cenicienta XIII

All skin and bone at 2 days old

Bolero was a cheeky little foal, yet has grown into a wonderfully laid back genuine horse.  Nothing seems to phase this lad which is exceptional in an entire colt.

Here at 2 years he has grown into a beautiful colt.

Bolero is now living a few miles away, and has been backed.  It sounds as though he is taking everything in his stride which is no surprise.  I hope to go and take some up to date photos in 2012 when he has lost his winter coat.

2007

Roble Anisado

2nd April 2007

Sire:Maryss Nogal

Dam:Cenicienta XIII

A beautiful compact colt who had a temparament you could only wish for.  Unfortunately we lost Anisado at 7 months.
