WOW - what a fabulous new ’boy’ you’ve found! Have watched the video and seen the pics of him. Love his classic head. A great addition to your stud. Have a really Happy 2010.

Noll,

Thank you.  I'm glad you like our new boy.  I was determined not to have to sacrifice the Spanish look and movement for the colour and i was very fortunate to use the agent who found him for me.  I hope to take a video of him moving soon as my jaw almost hit the floor the first time i saw it.

It would be great to meet you so if you are ever in the area, please give us a bell.  regards Emma

I’m sure you won’t have the time to reply, but to say what a lovely stallion you have. I also have a black PRE gelding, 8 years old and bought him 2 years ago past July. I love him to bits. He is a bit cheeky but as far as riding one could not wish for a safer more sensible horse. He loves coming over to see you in the field for his extra strong mint!! At the present I fractured my ankle (not a riding accident) and the lady who is riding him thinks he is great. We have a house in Devon and at the moment live in Edinburgh but the livery is very good but not so much the riding. I think you have a lovely attitude with your horses and it will reflect in them as they grow up. With kind regards. Liz Parkes

Liz,

Oooh please send photos of your boy.  Whats his name?  He sounds typically Spanish, very people orientated.....especially where treats are on offer.  Sorry to hear about your ankle.  If you have some spare time on your route down to Devon, you are very welcome to pop in for coffee (just give us a bell) .  As you'll know this breed make it easy to keep horses.  They are all starting to look like teddy bears at the moment :-).Regards Emma

5. Noll Charlick - 2009-02-08 20:03:23 Hello there Emma! I am a friend of your Mum and Dad’s at La Manga. I’m very ’horsey’ although I sadly lost my last gorgeous girl this time last year. I missed seeing you in 2007 (I think it was that year?) when you came over for the Torre Pacheco Exhibition. Your parents tell me a lot about you and the ’goings on’ at your farm. I lap it up as you can imagine!! I do miss horses so much while I am here - I even get out of the car at the bridge to ’sniff’ the horsey aroma from the stables there - yes, you’re right, I’m mad! Anyway, I just wanted say how beautiful i think your horses are. Noggin is a real ’WOW’ - lots of the look at me factor. And he appears to be passing it on to his stock. Your website is great, easy to follow and extremely attractive. Keep up the good work and all the best with the new babies this year.

Noll,

Very sorry to hear about your mare. Its a shame we didnt meet last time i was over, Mum and Dad told me all about you.  Sadly I wont be over this year for the show but i loved it last year. If you are ever in Dorset, you are welcome to pop in for coffee.  I would offer dinner, but mum will back me up when i say cooking is not my strong point and i wouldnt want to inflict it on you.  I'm sure we will be over visiting again at some point in the future so i look forward to meeting you. Thanks for the feedback on the website, Regards Emma

4. Cathy - 2009-02-04 11:01:03 Hi,

I own an andy filly, now 3 years old, by Romero XXV out of Latosa IX. I got her from the Gazaro stud as a weanling and her name is Lycosa (Lily to her friends). I love your black stallion and he will be high on my list of possibles when I decide to breed Lily in a few years time. At the moment she is being broken to saddle and I would like a few years of riding before putting her in foal, but brreding from her is a long term goal and I was pleased to find your website.

Cathy,

I would love to see photos of your Lily.  I've never met Rom in the flesh but he looks lovely in the photos.  I don't blame you for wanting to ride for a few years.  Their natural balance and attitude to work makes them a joy to work with.  Hope all is going well....and don't forget the photos :-).

Regards  Emma

3. Tina - 2008-09-23 17:37:47 Hi Emma,
Great job on the website, love the blogs! I contacted you early in the season with regards to A.I. and although I decided to go with Romero xxv as he was closer and would cost less. you were VERY helpfull and maybe I hope to put my mare in foal to Noggins next time...see how she copes with her first foal first!! keep up the good work! hud and kisses to Noggins! Love Tina x

Tina,

So when is she due? Please send us lots of photos, they are just so cute when they are born.   Looking forward to seeing your healthy bundle of legs and head (there doesnt seem to be anything else to them when they are born) soon

Regards Emma

1. Emma - 2008-08-10 15:52:55 Hello and welcome to my new Guestbook. Over the past few months i have often wondered what people think of our website, Spanish Horses and our stud farm. I have received some emails recently with feedback so i thought i would find a way to make my site more interactive.

I know its a bit cheeky but any suggestions for a name for the foal would be gratefully received too. Needs to start with B, be a masculine word preferably a Spanish word and if possible be to do with herbs, spices or flavours.....well i cant make it too easy can i ;).
Looking forward to hearing from you.
